This project was envisioned as a long-term family home designed to evolve alongside a growing household. Built for a family of five — plus pets — the home needed to balance openness and durability with warmth, creativity, and spaces tailored to each family member.

The primary objective was to create a highly functional layout that supports everyday life, entertaining, and individual expression, all within a cohesive rustic modern aesthetic.

CAPTURING RUSTIC MODERN FAMILY LIVING

Open, Connected Spaces:
A large, open floor plan anchors the home, allowing for seamless flow between living, dining, and gathering spaces — ideal for hosting holidays, parties, and everyday family moments.

Thoughtful Zoning:
While the main living areas remain open and communal, private spaces were intentionally designed to give each family member room to retreat, recharge, and express their personality.

Hospitality-Inspired Planning:
Guest accommodations, a game room, lounge spaces, and outdoor living areas ensure the home functions just as well for visitors as it does for daily life.

TEXTURE-RICH, WARM MODERN DESIGN

Natural Foundations:
White oak, steel, marble, wood, and concrete establish a material palette that feels both refined and rooted — modern in form, rustic in spirit.

Custom Moments:
A custom-designed fireplace, pool, casita, and thoughtfully tailored children’s bedrooms add layers of character and individuality throughout the home.

Balanced Palette:
A grounding mix of black, white, cream, grey, oak, and brown is accented with gold finishes and selective pops of color — including greens, blues, and pinks — to bring energy and personality into specific rooms.
